KQED's Over The Air signal from Sutro Tower was interrupted Mon 6/29 from apx 8:10pm to 11pm due to a PG&E power surge. OTA viewers who still do not have a KQED signal need to manually add the channel back into their tuner's memory and/or rescan to restore your lock on the signal.
There is also work and testing being done on Sutro Tower Tues 6/30 apx 10am-3pm. If you try your add/rescan during those hours and are not successful, please wait until after 3:30pm Tuesday, and try again.
Cable viewing was not affected by this OTA outage.
Viewers who experience difficulty in viewing the channel after the analog
shutoff can call the FCC hotline (1-888-225-5322), 24 hours a day/7 days a
week or call KQET Audience Services during weekday hours at 866.870.2528. More

KQET's Public Files are located at California State University-Monterey Bay, in Building 18, Room 120. If you would like to view the Public Files you should first check in at the Visitor's Center to receive a parking pass. Get downloadable directions to the Visitor's Center (PDF). The Visitor's Center will direct you to the nearby Building 18. Advise the receptionist at the Lobby B entrance that you would like to view the KQET public files.
